from chris' dad
I brought Chris into my home and into my life when he was only thirteen years old. It was an undeniable, perfect match and I adopted him only a few months later when he was 14. Having connected with me, instantly, and soon also very deeply, Chris immediately began to impact me with his huge heart and a steadfast determination to finally be able to thrive, which he did. His very heart and soul captured my own heart and we embarked on an incredible journey together as a father/son team that was obviously always meant to be. I lost Chris on Thanksgiving night 2022 in a tragic motorcycle accident when a distracted driver took him from us all. After many months of questioning why and navigating our lives with Chris no longer present with us, it finally became apparent that his impact must absolutely be continued as soon as possible. "His very heart and soul" is a phrase that was laid on my heart as the way forward in continuing his impact.
